    I’d suggest something like a incremented cipher where you convert the letters of the name of the file to their numerical value, then take the entire concatenated number and add the value of the day (changing every day) to it. This is the new file name that they have to call to DL.

    I just want to give out a big “Thank You” to all you assholes who were big enough dicks to get the DDL removed. It’s so great that people like me who are dumb enough to find IRC a fucking mystery and have no reliable internet, now have to figure out other ways of reading these great series that these guys put out. Way to go assholes.

    You want to make it harder for people to use your archives?
    I’ts not hard.
    Just number the files and have a database file offline that only you have to identify the comic’s real name from the number the file has.

    Don’t quite know why your wanting to do it though

    Just thinking, wouldn’t this push more people towards online readers like mangafox cause they can’t be assed with the increase in difficulty to obtain chapters?

    Why don’t you just make them internal releases? Cut out the middle man altogether, I say! Non-scanlators will never appreciate your work as much as you do yourself, so why let them download it at all?

    Have you tried not scanlating? It’s perhaps the easiest way to prevent readers from accessing any future works.
